I was surprised to realize it doesn’t contain incense, which was the most noticeable note on my skin. It reminds me of the smell of craft fairs in Chile; it’s rich but quite dense.

I owned this many years ago, when I was around 20. Now, recalling its scent, it seems quite mature for my age back then. I bought the purple bottle only because the green one was so popular among the girls in my office, and I wanted to stand out from them.

A delightful 90s scent that smells like a vintage floral relic, with that little note that gives it a vintage vibe, perhaps the freesia. It is certainly very strong and lasts incredibly long on the skin; the aroma never fades. It’s floral and even more floral, with faint reminiscences of Perry Ellis 360. Although it doesn’t contain honey, on my skin it smells like honey and flowers, so sweet and rich in my pH. I like it quite a bit and plan to buy more bottles.

I bought it blindly; for me, it’s too gothic. The typical 90s smell.

The truth is, I loved the scent, but it gave me headaches. Incredible that it’s still around.

J’ai aimé le parfum sur papier et je l’ai acheté sans l’essayer sur ma peau, car la parfumerie où je me trouvais était un distributeur aux bons prix mais sans cabine d’essai et sans autoriser l’atomisation sur la peau. Quelle erreur !! Une fois à la maison, très heureuse de mon achat, je me suis assise tranquillement pour l’essayer. Je l’ai ouvert, j’ai atomisé mon poignet et… Roarrrrrrrrr, Grrrrrrr, l’animal rugit !! Véritablement, ce parfum sur ma peau fait honneur à son nom : il sent l’animal, mais emprisonné ou mort, hé hé. La fiche Fragrantica ne décrit parmi ses notes que des ingrédients simples ou inoffensifs comme la fraise, la pêche, le citron, le musc de chêne et la bergamote, mais je suis presque sûre que son fixateur contient un type de phéromone ou d’extrait d’origine animale qui s’amplifie de manière impressionnante sur ma peau, devenant presque féline, comme une transpiration fétide et intolérable. Je n’avais jamais eu besoin de courir aux toilettes pour me laver et frotter presque obsessionnellement mon poignet au savon pour faire disparaître l’odeur, ce que je n’ai pas réussi, l’odeur désagréable persistant jusqu’au lendemain, laissant timidement entrevoir l’odeur de fraise et de pêche si légère qu’elle était à peine perceptible au milieu de tant de fétidité. Cette situation m’a beaucoup attristée et je ne savais pas quoi faire avec le flacon plein, car il était impensable de l’essayer à nouveau. Heureusement, au travail, je discutais de parfums avec une collègue et amie qui, elle, adore ce parfum ! Je n’arrivais pas à croire ce que j’entendais, alors j’ai rapidement organisé aujourd’hui une « dégustation de parfums » avec elle et d’autres collègues, et j’ai pu constater que chez elle, l’odeur n’était ni forte ni désagréable comme dans mon cas. Finalement, je lui ai offert le parfum. Je suis contente de lui avoir trouvé un nouveau foyer où il sera apprécié et utilisé comme il le mérite, et nous nous sommes beaucoup amusées lors de la fête des parfums où nous avons pu constater la merveille de la peau humaine et la complexe interaction des fragrances avec elle. J’espère avoir un peu contagionné mon amie pour ma passion et que celle-ci se multiplie.

A very typical 90s fragrance… intense, floral-fruity with a powerful trail, yet still ‘fresh’ in a way. It smells like a freshly showered woman with honey soap, then peach cream, hair smelling of floral shampoo and conditioner. The sweetness of freesia with peach dominates (for moments it smells like honey, but without being cloying), combined with the moss. Barely a hint of lime is felt in the top notes. Considering it smells good, its fixing power, and a trail that won’t leave anyone indifferent; it’s a good option for lovers of these characteristics. I think it would go well in cold weather, to add a bit of warmth… like dew after a shower, especially around the head; without over-spraying, I think it would be comforting.
