  • Incredible scent, truly unisex, blending earthy notes with something super clean and pleasant. The vetiver comes out soft and balanced by the ginger, making it perfect to try without fear. It improves on my skin over time: versatile, easy to wear, with a subtle sensual touch. It’s all-terrain: perfect for the office or a special date.

I was gifted two vials and was looking for a vetiver scent to honor my father’s memory; I think I found it. The star is the vetiver, full of character, accompanied by citrus, cardamom, and ginger. It gives me the sensation of being in a forest with green and woody aromas. I classify it as unisex.

What does it smell like? A glass of gin with ginger ale and vetiver and neroli botanicals. The opening is a white liquor with ginger that gives way to a very fresh, natural Haitian vetiver, in the line of Prada’s infusions that create a bubble around you, projecting discreetly and elegantly, but with better performance than its siblings. Perfect for spring, summer, and work; it suits both men and women equally. Too bad they discontinued it. Update: it’s back on the market, though I don’t know if it’s been reformulated.

  • A very fresh, citrusy, and wearable vetiver. Quite unisex. I bought it blind due to the difficulty of testing it, but knowing the perfumer and the Infusion line by Prada, I knew what to expect. It’s green and citrusy, not intrusive or projecting too much, but it envelops you with a charming aroma. The opening with ginger as the protagonist is a hit; it adds a lot of zest and energy. A good perfume to start with this note or if you are wary of other more aggressive vetivers.

  • After buying Infusion Homme, I moved on to Iris Cedre and then together this Vetiver and the EDP Absolu, all blind buys that did not disappoint me. This Infusion Vetiver fragrance lives up to its name, stands out without being earthy, accompanied by bright, clean citrus notes of lemon and bergamot, along with a vigorous ginger, making it special and nothing generic. The scents aren’t novel, but the composition is excellently assembled. Ideal for the office, casual daytime or evening outings, warm climates, spring, and summer. I wore it today, sprayed once on my arm at 4 pm. Then I went to the gym at 7 pm and moving my arm I felt bursts of scent. I went to the bathroom and even at 10 pm the aroma still smelled great. I will test again to see the longevity on skin.

  • Infusion de Vetiver is a delight. It’s luminous, bright, a fresh summer morning. A pale yellowish green that pops with slightly floral citrus: bergamot, mandarin, and unopened neroli; the powdery trail of rose and iris is in the background maintaining coherence with its sisters. The great protagonist, the vetiver, is green like few others, with a slightly bitter and crunchy side that adds naturalness, amplified and refreshed by the citrus. It’s a clean vetiver, spotless, sophisticated in its simplicity and kind character, that energizes and fills with positivity. Totally unisex, it doesn’t feel adult at all and could be a very good option for anyone wanting to start with this note which is usually so rugged. The truth is it reminds me very little of the discontinued Prada vetiver I had and didn’t enjoy too much, of which there must be a bottle left in my parents’ bathroom. In fact, in that one I never found vetiver but something resembling a tisane. As for longevity, it’s decent, about 6-7 hours, and the projection is moderate, tending low after the first two hours, but without stopping to feel and enjoy it constantly. It was a wonderful surprise and this summer I’m going to wear it daily.

  • A vetiver that makes me faint, sigh, want, love… Prada Infusion de Vetiver is glorious. Normally I’m not the type to faint over fresh green vetiver aromas, but this composition has everything in its favor. Vetiver is a unique note that appears from time to time; in nature it can be dry, bitter, and powdery, and most fragrances present it as smoky and dry-oriental. I think Infusion de Vetiver takes a different path. It’s clean and refreshing, but not boring, green, or dull. The dryness of the vetiver is evident, especially on skin, but the clean and soapy accord balances it very well. It’s not very herbal, just light and slightly soapy. It’s hard to do justice with my words. All I can say is that it seems very attractive to me and would make me approach anyone who smells like this. The blend of earthy freshness works very well. Prada makes elegant scents, and while Infusion de Vetiver is one of them, it’s not strictly so, so I would encourage any man, even the casual ones uncomfortable with suits, to give it a chance. It smells almost perfect on any man, at least in my opinion.

  • This is a delight: vetiver for women and some men too. It’s very fresh, very green, very citrusy, and perfect for all year round, light and slightly sweet but just barely. I feel it’s harmless, but that’s its beauty, it’s for everyone. Vetiver is present but not the main note; bergamot and ginger are dominant. Neroli and rose give it a slightly honeyed floral sweetness and a lot of femininity. It was very pleasant, not intrusive, its trail is short, skin-close, but its longevity is good.

  • To me it seems more of a hesperidic perfume than woody, a very fresh vetiver that together with bergamot becomes a freshness similar to that found in Ninfeo Mio.
