Light Blue Swimming in Lipari par Dolce&Gabbana

The previous review is mine and I didn’t realize I wasn’t logged in, so I’m rewriting it just so you know I was the original author. It’s my first perfume review and my personal opinion. This Light Blue Swimming in Lipari pour homme is quite fresh and citrusy, ideal for summer days. At first, it feels like a mix of grapefruit and sea water and stays that way for about 15 minutes, then it moves to an exquisite mandarin mixed with rosemary scent; the latter gives it more power and I perceive woody notes, though I can’t distinguish which ones. The scent is delicious and reminds me a lot of beach walks, but it has weak sillage and short longevity; after three hours I barely smell it close to the skin, although under the sun it intensifies. It’s quite refreshing and summery, although I’ve smelled better ones of the same type. That’s all for now. Thanks and see you soon.

Le Light Blue Swimming in Lipari pour homme est super frais et citronné, idéal pour l’été. Au début, ça sent le pamplemousse et l’eau de mer pendant environ 15 minutes, puis ça passe à une mandarine délicieuse avec du romarin qui donne plus de puissance et des notes boisées que je n’arrive pas à identifier. Ça sent la plage, mais la sillage est faible et ne dure pas ; après trois heures, on ne sent presque plus rien, sauf sous le soleil où ça s’intensifie. Très rafraîchissant et d’été, même si j’ai déjà senti d’autres parfums meilleurs du même genre. C’est tout pour le moment. Merci et à bientôt.

Opens with strong projection, salty, citrusy and musky. Fresh, oceanic, crisp, intense and pleasant. Grapefruit is the most marked citrus note, bitter and sharp, though mandarin is also noticeable with a sweet touch; sea salt is second, very prominent, evoking beaches and the ocean. Musk and ambergris are in the background but appear quickly; ambergris is the third note, earthy, mineral, mossy and musky, never animalic or annoying. Rosemary and wood are soft, adding spice and woody notes without being intense. When dried, it’s a marine/salty fragrance with ambergris, citrus, light spicy and woody touches.

Hello friends, I have this version and it’s truly super summery. It transports me to splashing in the Caribbean waves. Smells like sweet sea, an interesting rosemary note that gives a spicy touch to the grapefruit citrus, boosted by the ambergris which adds a distinct sweetness. On my skin it lasts more than 8 hours projecting from moderate to strong with double application. I recommend it if you find it: rich, fresh, spicy and well masculine.

Top summer fragrance, incredible citrus, super refreshing and elegant. I fell in love with the scent, that’s enough. I had already tried other Light Blue versions and knew what to expect; this one doesn’t disappoint, it has an extra but very subtle maritime touch. I recommend it for heat, though due to its potency and longevity, it also works in very cold climates. Without a doubt, a great product by Dolce & Gabbana.

Very interesting flanker… honestly, I was surprised by that perfectly achieved sea salt note, which combined with the citrus creates a great combo before the spicier heart phase. A very summery fragrance, 100% recommended.
