  • Total surprise at 98 in October at my usual perfumerie. Montana was just new, very novel. I brought it for my sister because Montana had great prestige and was easy to find. I don’t remember the exact scent, but it smelled super modern and leather suited her perfectly. Too bad it didn’t last long on the market, because it was good.

  • I loved this perfume. Potent, original, and it lasted for hours. What a pity it’s no longer available.

Vintage and hard to find nowadays. It followed in the footsteps of Mugler’s Angel’s worldwide success. It’s sweet without being cloying, feminine but with an androgynous touch, and it lasts forever. Looking for something for my mother, older with a modern and elegant style, I stumbled upon this at a ridiculous price. I bought it without hesitation. She doesn’t use it much, but when she does, it gives her presence, class, and great projection. It doesn’t smell synthetic, it’s warm, slightly spicy, and perhaps the chocolate and jasmine blend gives charisma to the woman wearing it. I don’t like the bottle, honestly, it doesn’t add class but it is elegant. It doesn’t smell dated at all. Highly recommended.

Very nice fragrance, strong, long-lasting, and warm. Brilliant opening with a gourmand honey note and a touch of smoke that turns the note into fine leather, then all the notes reappear in the cognac barrel where they were kept.

I don’t like this perfume. I tried it once and it seemed horrible. Maybe it’s not for my skin, because it smells different on other skin types.

Absolutely bold, radiant, and sensual. It’s a sublime expression between voluptuousness, leather, and musk (after an hour), but the first hit is a slight tingling of ginger and pepper, with a vibrant heart of ylang and grapefruit freshness, a rich soul of jasmine, and a small touch of soft vanilla. It reminds me a lot of Fendi’s Theorema, close to leathers but fresh, persistent, sensual, and ultra-feminine. One of those that makes you feel secure, firmly rooted in life, and unforgettable. It’s very well made and the dry down is almost unisex. I understand some may not like the opening. I feared it might be too sweet, but it isn’t, though it is a bit powdery. After about an hour, you get an excellent, natural, and balanced blend. You shouldn’t expect obvious jasmine or chocolate; this is what a ‘old school’ designer fragrance tried to do (before the era of super-sweet fruity fragrances), an excellent balance between contrasting notes, naturalness, dynamism, and a reasonable amount of complexity.
