J’adore ce parfum, que je ne pense pas être très connu. Un voisin me l’a vendu et je n’ai jamais demandé d’où il le tirait. Il est sucré sans être écœurant ; je le sens comme un classique mais élégant. Au prix que je l’ai acheté, je suis très satisfait.

Légèrement balsamique, aux notes vertes et fumées, il est sophistiqué et élégant, fait pour des jeunes d’une trentaine d’années au bon goût. Parfait pour une sortie chic et décontractée entre amis. Un parfum très européen aux touches des années 90, pariant sur la révolution du nouveau millénaire. Il s’installe très bien, avec beaucoup de classe et rien à voir avec ce qui abonde aujourd’hui dans la parfumerie masculine haut de gamme. Très recommandé si vous voulez être élégant et discret ; peut-être ne générera-t-il pas de compliments pour sa subtilité, mais cela ne signifie pas que l’extrait est mauvais, au contraire, il est excellent.

I looked for it as a Christmas gift and it was a stroke of luck. Seeing it on the shelf of that shop that sold everything from perfumes to bread, intact in its capsule, I felt a mix of tenderness and nostalgia. That little red dress seemed to be asking for help. Signature is so peaceful and orderly that defining it is scary. Its benevolent nature, where sweetness and matte shine intertwine, suggests serenity and inner change. It is the roundness of the small radiating a crystal smile. It is like watching an old video of children singing at home, a familiar music that brings us closer to something that will never return. A beautiful chord of tenderness and innocence. It is opening the window again, seeing the sun set red like a candy, listening to the birds, and returning to Bécquer and Chopin’s nocturnes.

Thanks to an exchange with a forum colleague, I enjoyed this jewel again. It is a spiced, balsamic, resinous, and aromatic vanilla, exquisite. I noticed it a bit less intense than I remembered, but I am sure it is because I previously had the EDP and now the EDT, although the scent is the same. It is not a complex development, almost linear, although sometimes one note stands out over another. The opening is aromatic and sweet, with light citrus, lavender, and spices; then heliotrope and cinnamon dominate, closing with an exceptional trio: vanilla, benzoin, and amber. Although these notes mark the three phases, the scent has a monolithic, compact, and homogeneous soul, sweet and warm without being cloying. It is a harmonious blend of Givenchy’s Jaipur and Pi, orchestrated with care. I fell in love with Opium in ’95, then alternated with Jaipur, but Signature offered more presence and won me over. Drink from the classics Zino, Jaipur, and Pi, uniting their characteristics with skill. Good longevity, more than 8 hours on skin, moderate but noticeable trail, ideal for cold or temperate climates and night use. I regret not buying more before, as Jaipur is a sigh of the past, Opium lost its soul, and Signature was condemned without a second thought. Another magnificent perfume that passes through the filter of unscrupulous executives, which is why I keep my bottle like gold in a cloth.

Début classique chargé de lavande avec une touche sucrée indéfinie, me rappelant l’ouverture du Tsar de V&A. Au cœur, les florales évoquent le style Safari de Ralph Lauren. À cinq heures, la fève tonka, la vanille, l’ambre et le patchouli prennent le dessus. À dix heures, on sent encore le patchouli, le cèdre et la vanille. Bien que ce soit un parfum oriental, son sillage n’est pas aussi sucré qu’il en a l’air. Une fragrance jolie, prétendument retirée, avec un sillage lourd et une tenue supérieure à 12 heures. Étant épicé, il est plutôt réservé à l’hiver et au soir, idéal pour un usage formel.
